What are the possible consequences of neglected caries?

If you do not treat caries in time it may cause such complications as pulpitis or periodontitis. Sometimes lack of dentin and teeth enamel (brygmus, wedge-shaped defect, and hypoplasia) may follow neglected caries. Still, these diseases are not always caused by caries and can have different causes. Do not neglect your teeth. See the dentist regularly. In this case caries (especially neglected one) will not be your problem.
